COMMUNITY PROCESSION:

Starting at 11am at Peterborough City Hall.

A beautiful and bright parade honoring National Aboriginal day will proceed along George St. to Del Crary Park, the site of the Ode'min Giizis Traditional Gathering. The procession lead by Anishnaabe drummers, will include participating Pow Wow dancers, our host head dancers Nimkii Osawamick & Crystal John.

We need YOU to participate in this procession where your community banners, and crafts themed on the harvest of the strawberry will be greatly appreciated! Local groups and organizations will walk alongside impressive 12 foot high puppets from Red Pepper Spectacle Arts. The parade will lead to Del Crary Park for a day-long Traditional Gathering and Pow Wow with an array of festivities for all to enjoy.
