Morning gathering to celebrate the first day of summer, expressing
and honoring the ode'min (heartberry/strawberry) and out water.
Gathering led by Anishmaane elders and traditional people
Doug Williams @ Liz Osawamick (out of respect for the tradtions
of our elders, women please wear long skirts.) Everyone Welcome!

Saswaansing (the Art of Learning Language in the Little Nest)
A community based project supported by Indigenous
Performance Initiatives invites the community to join
parents and their children who have been meeting weekly to
learn Anishinaabemowin (Ojibway) language basics and songs.
This program has been directed by Leanne
Simpson and Hilary Wear
working with the assistance of Elder, Vera
Bell.
Location: Performance Tipi located south east corner
of Del Crary Park on AGP Grounds.
