At 8pm Friday night five choreographers are given a theme with which to work. Then they meet Saturday morning with a large group of dancers to choose a cast, after which they rehearse all day and present a finished work at 8pm Saturday night. Can five new dances really be choreographed, scored, rehearsed, and performed in a period of 24 hours? It’s been done three times before with dynamic results, so we invite you to the fourth annual 8 to 8 event to see the incredible products of creativity under pressure.
