EVERYONE CAN BE A MODERN DANCER!
Open to all shapes, sizes and colours of people no matter what your skill level and age from 8 to 80. Wear comfortable clothing and good walking shoes.
SPECIAL HAT PRIZE: A $500 cash prize for your favourite charity goes to the person or group wearing the most artistic hat in the dance.
THE DANCE WILL TAKE PLACE SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 24 AT 4 PM on the entire block of George Street from Hunter to Simcoe Streets.
ONE AND ALL ARE INVITED TO GATHER AT 3 PM at one of four downtown parks the same day to learn the very simple yet highly artistic steps in the dance. Choose from one of:
Fleming Park, corner of Aylmer and Brock
Confederation Park, across from City Hall
Victoria Park, corner Water and Brock
Millennium Park, Charlotte at Simcoe, across from Empress Gardens
