In-Ward: The essence of hip-hop in a show about the human psyche. With a raw and precise physicality, ground breaking hip-hop choreographer Alexandra ‘Spicey’ Landé and six accomplished dancers plunge us into the deep waters of the conscious and unconscious. Forced to live together and form a group, they navigate between the temptations of solitude and of closeness, and the threat of conflicts. Accompanying the dance and constantly propelling it forward is a sound design by renowned hip-hop beat maker and producer, Shash’U.

Please note, Public Energy Performing Arts is committed to presenting the work of artists as long as it is safe to do so. As long as public performance is allowed in some capacity, this show will proceed. All audience members must show proof of vaccination and wear a mask to enter the performance.

Currently theatres are permitted to operate at up to 50% capacity. Public Energy Performing Arts will operate at a further reduced capacity for In-Ward to allow for distancing, seating audiences in every other row and with a vacant seat between each household group.
