Burpee and Wild’s creative relationship has a lengthy history through their company work together at Dancemakers and as independent artists. Both thrive on emotionally-driven work, and neither shy away from physical ferocity and vulnerability. The development of Fidelity’s Edge and Mischance and Fair Fortune is an investigation of partnership in both the artistic process and content of the work. Their relationship as dancers brings to the stage a raw power and interconnectedness rarely seen in contemporary dance duets.
Original music by Christine Fellows and John K. Samson
Lighting by Jean Philippe Trépanier
