In Your Space Workshop Series

Public Energy Performing Arts’ In Your Space Workshop Series invites dance, theatre and interdisciplinary performance artists into community organizations to facilitate outreach and workshop activities. This series is aimed at connecting artists with diverse publics by way of community partnerships. Many of these organization hold the commitment to diversity and inclusivity in their organizational mandates.

Public Energy Performing Arts is working with the following groups to bring performing artists and workshops into their community spaces:  Peterborough New Canadians Centre, LOFT Downtown Youth Space, YES Shelter for Youth and Families, Nogojiwanong Friendship Centre, Chanie Wenjack School for Indigenous Studies, Catharine Parr Traill College, Trent University, and the Elizabeth Fry Society of Peterborough.

We really value our community partnerships, and we look forward to continuing to build these partnerships and work to remove barriers to access to the performing arts. If you are connected to a community group and would like to bring performing artists and workshops into your space – please contact Performance Curator Victoria Mohr-Blakeney at victoria@publicenergy.ca
