Peterborough Square Courtyard
The Courtyard is primarily made up of concrete which may create some noise challenges from passing traffic. There are multiple points of access to the Courtyard. Ramps on the western and eastern side of the Square, as well as stairs. All ramps and stairs have tactile markers at the top and bottom so visitors know when the ramp or stairs will begin. There are no shaded areas, so the courtyard may become warm when the sun is out. Guests should be aware that Peterborough Square is closed on Sunday’s so there may not be access to the mall and the accessible washroom. During Market Hall and Public Energy events, there will be access to accessible washrooms within the theatre.
Directions / Parking:
The courtyard attached to Peterborough Square is located on the south-east corner of Charlotte St. and Water St. The address is 140 Charlotte St, Peterborough ON. It can be accessed from both streets via accessible ramps or stairs. Street parking is available, or you can park in the Peterborough Square Parking lot (Follow Charlotte Street east of the venue past Princess Gardens, look for the entrance on your left.) Take the elevator from the parking Garage to the Peterborough Square.
